Stamens clustered around small carpels tipped red. Tetraploid. Fertile pollen when used on other tets, Medium large foliage, husky upright stems, usually no laterals. Average height 30-36 inch / 75-91 cm, First year bloomed (guess) 1974-75 Received from Roy Pehrson 1978, Garden names: Roy’s D.W., “RP-SSD,” “Green Viking.” Double herbaceous hybrid. Parentage, Sanctus x a non white F3 derived from Silver Dawn. (Pehrson / Bill Seidl, USA, 1989).
